Alumni from the MBChB Class of 2001 met in September for a 21st anniversary reunion, with over 150 graduates joining to celebrate and and reminisce about their time at University. Image A Reunion to Remember The Class of 2001, joined by many from 2002, met after a 21-year gap since graduation. 63 alumni joined an afternoon tour of the Old Medical School (automatically sitting in their old seats in the Anatomy Lecture Theatre!). The group enjoyed talks from the Dean of Clinical Medicine, Professor Siddharthan Chandran and now retired lecturer, Dr Kristmundsdottir. The group also received behind the scenes access to the Anatomy Museum with Malcolm MacCallum, Anatomical Museum Curator and current MBChB student, Rohan Burla. Image Following the tour, the group of 153 graduates met at The Balmoral for a vintage medical themed dinner, including a magician, group photo, exam paper quizzes, a ceilidh and disco. The event was a great opportunity to catch up with old friends, with many of the group chatting outside The Balmoral well after the evening had ended.
