Edinburgh University Polo Club invites all members and alumni to join them for the annual Polo Ball. About the event Event details Image Date: Tuesday 26th March 2024 Time: Doors Open 7:00pm Venue: The Ghillie Dhu, 2 Rutland Place, EH1 2AD Price: £85 for a sit down dinner with a live band ceilidh afterwards Dress Code: This is a formal evening but roaring 20’s themed so go all out for this twist on classic black tie Register: Please contact Hannah Laurence (Polo Alumni Officer) before 8th March to secure your spot at H.E.R.Laurence@sms.ed.ac.uk. We hope to see you there to meet with other alumni attending and revisit your time at Edinburgh University specifically with the Edinburgh University Polo Club. An auction will take place after dinner. Awards will be read, raffle prizes will be announced as well as a speech from our committee. Later in the evening, we will have a live band play followed by the after party at Why Not Nightclub. Our charity for this event is Meningitis Now which is a charity very close to us as a club, this charity researches prevention and treatment as well as offering financial and emotional support to those affected and their families. About the club The Edinburgh University Polo Club (EUPC) strives to provide and achieve sporting excellence with social events to match. Established in 1995, our aim is to make polo as accessible as possible to university students, whilst achieving top playing results throughout the season.
