Edinburgh University RFC invites all our members and alumni to join us for a weekend of fun, food and sporting action. Image Friday 7th February 1pm EURFC Golf Day (Prestonfield Golf Club, 6 Priestfield Road North, Edinburgh, EH16 5HS) For any and all keen golfers there is an opportunity for a round on the Friday afternoon to commence the weekend. Depending on numbers and preference, this could instead take place on the Sunday morning. Please do let us know which you would prefer. Prices are below. Four: £140 Three: £120 Two: £90 Single: £50 Saturday 8th February 1pm - 7pm Italy vs Wales at 2.15pm and England vs France at 4.45pm (The Three Sisters, 139 Cowgate, Edinburgh, EH1 1JS) Italy will host Wales in Rome to commence the second round of the 2025 Guinness Six Nations Championships followed by Le Crunch where England host France at HQ. Meet up with your fellow EURFC Alumni in our reserved space or get involved with the masses in the courtyard for the big screen viewing. Order food and enjoy discounted beverages while watching the warm-up game in anticipation for the night ahead and the trip to Murrayfield the following day. 7pm - Midnight Black Tie Dinner (The Scotsman Hotel, 20 North Bridge, Edinburgh, EH1 1TR) There will be fundraising opportunities, including a raffle, with all proceeds directly supporting the club (any donations to the raffle will be appreciated). Previously the home of The Scotsman newspaper for nearly a century, the award-winning Scotsman Hotel will be the host for our Alumni Dinner. Enjoy a delicious three-course meal and private bar while your EURFC hosts bring you up to date with all the latest news. There will also be fundraising opportunities, with all proceeds directly supporting the Club and partnered charities. Menu Starters: Chicken Liver Parfait Spiced Pineapple Chutney, Brioche Toast Mains: Braised Daube of Scotch Beef Young Carrots, Scurrile Potatoes, Haggis Bonbon, Whisky Sauce Deserts: Lemon Tart Vanilla Cream, Dark Chocolate Shavings Food allergens and requirements There will be some questions to answer when purchasing a ticket. I will then contact individuals to discuss alternative menus. Price £80 - you may purchase more than one at a time if you are looking to reserve a table. The maximum number of tickets available to purchase at one time is 10 which will be the maximum seating per table. The ticket will include champagne on arrival, drinks behind a prepaid bar and queue skip for WhyNot nightclub after dinner. Sunday 9th February 11.30am - 1.30pm Pre-game drinks (Ghillie Dhu, 2 Rutland Place, Edinburgh, EH1 2 AD) Discuss the antics of the night before, and predict the score for the upcoming match, in Edinburgh’s Ghillie Dhu pub, before joining the crowds making their way to Murrayfield to watch Scotland vs Ireland, for the 3pm kick-off. We have booked an area in this remarkable and memorable venue for all alumni to attend. Whether you are coming to the game or not, it would be great to see as many of you there as possible! 3.00pm kick-off *Please note only for those who successfully purchased a ticket* Scotland vs Ireland (Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium, Roseburn Street, Edinburgh, EH12 5PJ) The winning team will be presented with the Centenary Quaich and play a significant part in this year’s Six Nations tournament. Out of the 36 times these sides have played each other in this competition, Ireland has won 21 of those matches, whilst Scotland has won 14. Note that the deadline for purchasing through the club is 30th August. This way we can try and make sure that all alumni and current players sit together, although you are welcome to purchase tickets via other means. Six Nations 2025 Tickets There are four ticket bands available for the six nations: Platinum (Cat 1), Gold (Cat 2), Silver (Cat 3), Bronze (Cat 4).
