An undergraduate tutor pushed Giuseppe to his intellectual limits studying the Romantic poets at undergraduate level. He is grateful for that push to this day in his job curating the Keats-Shelley museum in Rome.

Children’s Holiday Venture founder and Dick Vet graduate Martyn Edelsten, explains how starting the student society led him to working in developing countries and a career in tropical veterinary medicine.

Schuyler Jones travelled the world before choosing to come to Edinburgh. Four years studying Anthropology set him on his path back to the remote valleys of Afghanistan to put his degree into practice and later to Oxford, East Africa and North America.

Morag MacCormick began Nursing Studies at the University when it was the only course of its kind in Europe. Her education here has taken her to London, Iran, Israel and Lebanon to name just a few, and back to Edinburgh again.
