Free certified sustainability courses

Learn about sustainability, enhance your professional credentials, and make a difference.

In March the University announced its new regenerative sustainability strategy, setting out our plans to not only minimise damage to the environment, but to actively repair it.

In addition to our Learning and Teaching, Operational and Research and Innovation activities, our strategy seeks to create a culture that celebrates sustainability and empowers our communities to take action.

That's why we're excited to offer a free, bespoke Introduction to Sustainability course for our alumni, as well as opportunities to sign up for our Carbon Literacy Training and Biodiversity Literacy Training.

The Department for Social Responsibility and Sustainability has had over 11,000 staff and students participate in the training it offers with a 99% recommendation rate.

Their professional development training explores sustainability, climate change, biodiversity and so much more. They help you learn more about the topics, how to make a difference and enhance your CV.
