Last year the University was excited to launch the new UNITE Foundation Accommodation and Access Bursaries. These awards have opened the doors of the University to six first year students, providing free accommodation and additional support as they embark on their degree. Image Helena Shorrock, from Kendal in the Lake District, has just begun her degree in History. Coming to university was always her ambition but she knew it would prove financially challenging.
