February 2018 | UEBS Event in Toronto: Talk by Professor Mary Brennan Join the University of Edinburgh Business School and the Edinburgh University Club of Toronto (EDUCT), for a special talk on food sustainability, entitled 'It's hard being sustainable: the realities and pitfalls of responsible food consumption', on Tuesday 27th February 2018. The event will take place from 6.00pm till 8.30pm at the Arts & Letters Club in Toronto. The speaker for this engaging and insightful talk will be Professor Mary Brennan, Chair of Food Marketing and Society at the University of Edinburgh Business School. She will draw on the breadth of her research to examine how organisations, public bodies and individual households can be supported to live and eat more sustainably and the complexities of incorporating sustainable food into our everyday lives. Doors will open at 6.00pm and the talk will start promptly at 6.15pm. After the talk, there will be an opportunity for questions, followed by further discussion and networking with fellow University of Edinburgh alumni. Guests are welcome and the event is also open to prospective students.
