September 2017 | London Alumni Network Event: Leaders of Influence

Join the London Alumni Network at the University Women’s Club on Thursday 14th September 2017 from 6.30pm to 9.00pm for an alumni panel discussion and drinks reception, entitled ‘Leaders of Influence’.

An enterprising and engaging all-star panel of Edinburgh graduates will discuss the secrets to achieving success in their fields, the challenges of gender inequality and careers advice based on their own experiences.

The panel discussion will be followed by a drinks reception, allowing alumni to chat informally with the speakers over a glass of wine in the beautiful surroundings of one of London's great private clubs.

The event is open to all Edinburgh alumni, along with partners and friends.

Panellists include:

The President of the London Alumni Network, Jane Oliver: A Certified World Class Speaking Coach and CEO of Creative Career Coaching.

Sophie Baldry: A Senior Manager within the Lloyds Banking Group’s Customer Journey Transformation Team, winner of the Young Professional accolade at the 2016 Women in Banking and Finance Awards, and an Ambassador for the Women of the Future programme.

Marianne Ismail: Current Pro-Chancellor and Chair of the Court of the University of Greenwich. Previously, the Managing Director of Morgan Stanley, the CEO in Global Wealth Management Europe in Citigroup, and the Head of Private Banking for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Standard Chartered Bank.
