May 2017 | EDUCT: An evening with Dr Andrew Stevens

Join the Edinburgh University Club of Toronto (EDUCT) for talk by Dr Andrew Steven on 'Reforming Scottish Law: Recent Developments, Brexit and Scoxit' from 6.00pm-8.00pm on Friday 5th May 2017 at the Offices of the Council of Canadian Innovators in Toronto.

Dr Andrew Steven is a Senior Lecturer in the Edinburgh Law School. In August 2011,  he was appointed to the Scottish Law Commission (SLC) for five years as the Commissioner responsible for property law reform and his appointment was renewed for a further three years in August 2016.

Dr Steven will highlight some of the differences between English and Scottish law and offer observations on some of the main areas of law reform that would assume priority for Scotland’s legislators under Scoxit.
