London Alumni Network summer BBQ and ceilidh Nestled at the back of Angel station, the Islington Metalworks is a completely quirky venue, steeped in history. Built in the late 19th Century, all three floors were initially used to stable the horses that pulled the trams for London Transport. In 1925 it was converted into a metal works and latterly has become a unique venue space, with its famous tube carriage cocktail bar. It is the perfect venue for a night of dancing, drinking and socialising with your fellow alumni. Entertainment will be provided by one of London’s premier ceilidh covers band - Baltik Ceilidh Band. Renowned as a funky and exciting ceilidh band, they will keep you dancing all night long with renditions of the Gay Gordons, Dashing White Sergeant and Strip The Willow. Additional information The ticket price includes welcome drinks and BBQ buffet. The dress code is smart casual, with tartan strongly encouraged! Tickets are £30 in advance or £25 for recent graduates of the last 5 years (tickets on the door will be £35). Please book online.
