Tartan Day Parade and Alumni Gathering in NYC | 06 April Join Professor Sir Peter Mathieson, Principal and Vice-Chancellor of the University, and fellow alumni, students and friends on Saturday 6 April in New York City for the annual Tartan Day Parade, followed by a get-together at Bartley Dunne’s. This April, join the Edinburgh community to celebrate Tartan Day from 1.45pm, marching up Sixth Avenue from 44th to 55th Street with the procession of pipers, dancers and bands. Following the parade, join us for an informal reception from 3:30pm at nearby Bartley Dunne’s where Professor Sir Mathieson, along with representatives from the University, will share news from Edinburgh over drinks and a selection of tasty light bites. This get-together should be a great chance to catch up with old friends, make new ones and connect with your local New York Alumni Club. Further details including the parade meeting point and final timings will be shared in advance.
