Max Sanderson

Chosen object: 'The Man who Mistook his Wife for a Hat' by Oliver Sacks

Max is the lead audio producer for the Guardian where he produces the ‘Science Weekly’ podcast, among other standalone projects and podcast series. His media work has also featured on the Guardian Music Blog, BBC World Service Radio, BBC Radio 4 and live at the TEDMED Conference in the US.

He is most proud of his work on ‘Beyond the Blade’, an award-winning multimedia series exploring knife crime in Britain. He graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2012 with a BSc in Neuroscience and holds an MSc in Science Media Production from Imperial College London.

If sat beside Max at a dinner party, you would most likely hear him waxing lyrically about how he really loves science (with the tattoos to prove it) or boasting proudly about his allotment (no tattoos…yet).
