UncoverEd - featuring 1944 graduate Ansuyah Singh A new exhibition will celebrate the histories of students from Africa, the Caribbean, Asia and the Americas from as early as 1700. It's part of the UncoverEd project - led by PhD candidates Henry Mitchell and Tom Cunningham - that aims to to situate the ‘global’ status of the University of Edinburgh in its rightful imperial and colonial context. Alumni around the world met up to celebrate the life of Robert Burns Burns celebrations, hosted by our alumni clubs or in collaboration with partners, were held across the world this month. Events ranging from traditional Burns Suppers to informal toasts took place in Washington DC, New York, Toronto, Boston, Chicago, Chile, Denver, Los Angeles, Greenwich, Iceland, Uruguay, Paris, Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. Each one was an opportunity to connect with fellow alumni and celebrate the life and work of Robert Burns.
