Episode 1 presents a conversation about ageing well, working lives and the power of the multi-generational workplace. Best-selling author and Edinburgh graduate Carl Honoré is joined by fellow alumni Professor Wendy Loretto, Dean of the Business School, and Lee Ann Panglea, Head of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development in Scotland and Northern Ireland.  What follows is a fascinating discussion on the stories we tell about ageing, workplace discrimination through the lens of research, and what we can all do to change the conversation on what it means to age. How do we support people to keep working, if they want to? What about unpaid carers? Are older women more discriminated against than older men? And who is the ideal worker, really?
